Article 12 NESVFL Bylaws (adopted May 1963):
Section 2; The Edward A Brennan Sr. Trophy:
The same rules governing the awarding of the John F. Cutter Sr. trophy
apply to the Edward Brennan Sr. Trophy, and will be awarded to first
(class A) engines. This Trophy was donated by East Greenwich, RI Fire
Dept., of which Mr. Brennan was a member.

Article 12 NESVFL Bylaws (adopted May 1963)
Section 1; The John F. Cutter Trophy will be
awarded annually to the organization in the leaague which has the
highest average of any three longest streams which have been obtained in
three (3) different league musters. If there should only be three (3)
League musters in any given year, the award would be made on the average
of the two (2) longest streams. If there is only one (1) or two (2)
League musters held, the longest stream will be used to award the
trophy.

Article 12 NESVFL Bylaws:
Section 3: There shall be a point system to determine the hand engines
in both class A & B that has the
best order of finishing positions for the muster season. Points to be
awarded for the order of finish for the first seven (7) positions as
follows: seven (7) points for first, six (6) points for second, five (5)
points for third, four (4) points for fourth, three (3) points for
fifth, two (2) points for sixth, one (1) point for seventh position.
Class A engines will be awarded a trophy to be known as the Joe Herman
Trophy, Class B engines will be awarded a trophy to be known as the
Charles Mastin trophy. These trophies will be furnished by the B.F.
Hoxie Engine Co. No 1 of Mystic, CT the owners of the T.W. Lane. These
trophies will be awarded each year at the October meeting.
